NHS Dorset commitment to delivering same sex accommodation
NHS Dorset has assessed the compliance of its wards with regards to same-sex accommodation. Currently all of Dorset Community Health Services inpatient services are compliant with the standards set by the Department of Health. Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is also compliant with all the standards. The Trust Board is committed to improving privacy & dignity for patients and has committed funds to upgrade some areas of accommodation to further improve the patient environment and enhance privacy and dignity for patients.
